Indefinite Detention: 'Architecture of fascist state'

Terror suspects in America could be held in prison indefinitely - without charge or trial. That's if the Senate passes a controversial bill which has already been signed off by the White House and the House of Representatives. The military will be able to take custody of alleged terrorists virtually without question. Critics say it would be a stark violation of human rights. The White House initially objected to the bill, but later changed its mind. John Glaser from Antiwar.com thinks the administration is indulging in smoke and mirrors. The Architecture of Ancient Rome adopted the external Greek architecture for their own purposes, which were so different from Greek buildings as to create a new architectural style. The two styles are often considered one body of classical architecture. This approach is considered reproductive, and sometimes it hinders scholars' understanding and ability to judge Roman buildings by Greek standards, particularly when relying solely on external appearances. The Romans absorbed Greek influence, apparent in many aspects closely related to architecture; for example, this can be seen in the introduction and use of the Triclinium in Roman villas as a place and manner of dining. The Romans, similarly, were indebted to their Etruscan neighbors and forefathers who supplied them with a wealth of knowledge essential for future architectural solutions, such as hydraulics and in the construction of arches. Social elements such as wealth and high population densities in cities forced the ancient Romans to discover new (architectural) solutions of their own. The use of vaults and arches together with a sound knowledge of building materials, for example, enabled them to achieve unprecedented successes in the construction of imposing structures for public use. Examples include the aqueducts of Rome, the Baths of Diocletian and the Baths of Caracalla, the basilicas and perhaps most famously of all, the Colosseum. They were reproduced at smaller scale in most important towns and cities in ...

  1. Ron Paul 2012!

He stands against draconian bills like SOPA, NDAA and the Patriot Act.

Less government spending, less taxation to American Citizens, and a budget plan that works.

This man has been fighting for your personal freedom and the separation of congress from big business for years.

He has fought against the war on drugs, foreign wars, the federal reserve, nation building, and corporate bail outs.

Vote for liberty this year. Vote for real change.

Thumb up and spread the message!

  2. If there is Democracy in China, most of the people will agree:

1, Nationalism: industrialization was the greatest achievement during Mao's era.
2, Democracy: Marxist political theory is evil. The dictatorship has deprived the people of their political rights. It has continued since 1980s, backed up by the U.S.
3, The People's Livelihood: in 1976 when Mao passed away, China was industrialized. The thriving and self-sufficient economy was destroyed by Privatization and Globalization in 1980s.

  3. Please answer the following questions before claiming S Korean MATRIX is winning:

1, What was the real cause of Roh Moo-hyun's death? Did he commit suicide or was he actually killed by CIA hired thugs for the purpose of blocking unification of North Korea and South Korea?

2, Why most Russians want to revive USSR, despite the exposure of the Gulag?

Most Russians what to revive the foundation of USSR policies: against imperialism, capitalism and Zionism, and maintain the welfare system.

We all need to petiton our own governor to secede. If all 50 states did that, we could reunite, reestablish the constitution and bill of rights, elect leaders for and by the people, end corporate and special interests donations to campaigns, establish a new set of justices who uphold the constitution. We need a new USA.

  5. A few individuals now decide who and what is a threat. The Republic is dying and Fascism has become the political ideology that drives both parties. Remember, the United States Constitution is the legal document that determines the laws in America. Arbitrarily infringing on these laws is a crime. It is the duty of the people to protect the Constitution because it should be obvious to everyone that the politicians and Supreme Court judges are not willing to do so, they have whored themselves.

  6. Wake up America! Criminals have got hold of the Nation and are committing evil deeds in the name of national security. Our constitutional liberties and rights are being squashed, Guantanamo is full, and women and children are being killed due to indiscriminate bombings in several countries. The Republic has sunk into tyranny. Not every American is evil but too many good Americans have chosen to do nothing.

  7. If YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT Joe Rogan is saying about "INDEFINITE DETENTION" how the Power to Arrest and Kill, yes you will be Killed, without anyone knowing where you are, without a trial, without any way to show you are innocent-It's a TIMELESS tale of ABUSE of POWER, SECRET AGENDAS, RACIAL EXTERMINATION, POPULATION & RESOURCES CONTROL BY KILLING-if you can't see that then your beyond DUMB, YOU must have been BORN YESTERDAY.

  9. Too bad the kids who are the right age to lead a revolt are either too cowardly or too ignorant, or too lazy to do anything worthwhile. Good thing my kids have all left the U.S. for a better place. It is about to get real bad as the NWO takes over.

  13. @afshinkiyani You need to pay attention: Ron Paul has a looooong voting record of total opposition to the Leviathan State; those clowns you cited have an opposite record. Dr Paul is not now and never has been a pawn of any imaginary "lobbyists" which you would know if you did any research. As President he could certainly put an end to the imperial wars, since they are now being waged by Presidential edict, and he could veto all funding for such.
    Think again.

  14. @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY You're an idiot: it's not hypocrisy to say that communists have rights. It IS hypocrisy for commies to talk about rights becaue it is you scum who, along with your identical twins, the national socialists, don't recognise that anyone but your evil selves have rights. It's interesting that you consider that important historical lesson to be "lame" -- interesting and very informative. Your ideology has been relegated to the dustbin of history, so yap away in there.

  15. This is the basic reason why the Framing Convention omitted from the Constitution anything in the nature of a separate Bill of Rights, as being unnecessary.

  16. their God-given, unalienable rights including, in part, the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. As Hamilton stated, under the American philosophy and system of constitutionally limited government, the people surrender nothing;" instead, they merely delegate to government--to public servants as public trustees--limited powers and therefore, he added, "they have no need of particular reservations" (in a Bill of Rights).

  17. They are, therefore, more properly referred to as a partial list of limitations--or a partial Bill of Prohibitions--as was indicated by Hamilton in The Federalist number 84This hinges upon the uniquely American concepts stated in the Declaration of Independence: that Men, created of God, in turn create their governments and grant to them only "just" (limited) powers--primarily to make and keep secure

  18. supplementing the prohibitions previously specified expressly in the original Constitution and supplementing and confirming its general, over-all, implied, prohibition as to all things concerning which it withheld power from this government. Merely confirming expressly some of the already-existing, implied prohibitions, these amendments did not create any new ones. .

    ReplyDelete
  19. The Constitution's first eight (Bill of Rights) amendments list certain rights of The Individual and prohibit the doing of certain things by the central, or Federal, government which, if done, would violate these rights. These amendments were intended by their Framers and Adopters merely to make express a few of the already-existing, implied prohibitions against the Federal government only--

For andonaki2 First, the Latin language, the one who spoke the ancient Romans, is not of Greek origin, but rather an Indo-European language belonging to the group of Latin-Faliscan (there were a group of historically attested Indo-European languages in the Italian region and inserted, along with Osco-Umbrian languages, among the Italic languages. Secondly, the Greeks, the great philosophers, mathematicians, and more,..
